Keen terms of use
Effective date: 21 October 2026
Keen ("the app") is a brain-training app for Android published by Oyrial ("we"). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Keen or this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them with our privacy policy, which says what we keep and why.
What Keen is
Keen is practice for everyday memory and focus: short games, lessons and check-ups. It is for teens and adults aged 13 and over.
Not a medical device
Keen is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, including dementia or memory loss, and its scores are not a medical test. If you are worried about your memory or health, talk to a doctor.
Your account
- Give a real email address you can read, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account is for one person. Friend challenges let people compare scores; they do not share an account.
- You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email. See how to delete your account.
Keen Premium
- Some features need Keen Premium, a subscription sold through Google Play. The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy.
- Google Play takes the payment, and Google Play's own terms apply to it. A subscription renews on its own until you cancel it.
- To cancel, open Google Play, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your Keen account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund rules. If something went wrong, write to us and we will help.
Fair use
Please do not:
- break the law with Keen, or use it to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
- put offensive names or messages in challenges or in support messages;
- try to get into other people's accounts, our server or Premium without paying;
- overload, attack, copy at scale or reverse engineer the app or its server, except where the law allows it.
If someone breaks these rules, we may remove their content, or suspend or close their account. Where we can, we tell them why first.
Our content
The app, its games, lessons, text and art belong to Oyrial. You may use them for your own personal training. Your own data stays yours; we only use it to run Keen for you, as the privacy policy explains.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Keen correct and running, but it is provided "as is". We do not promise it will always be available, free of mistakes, or that it will improve any particular skill. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, Oyrial is not liable for indirect or unexpected losses, such as lost data you did not back up, lost time or lost profits, from using or not being able to use Keen. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Keen Premium in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect, and explain important changes in the app. If you keep using Keen after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using Keen and delete your account.
